Safe Working - Best Practice

NDWA is committed to promoting best practice in regard to safe working for members and colleagues and also in providing access to appropriate Personal Protective Equipment PPE and animal restraint equipment. NDWA worked with the Highways Agency in regard to animal capture on a major road such as a motorway and trunk roads and whilst it is understood that many employers do not allow their dog control staff to go on to motoroways or trunk roads the attached PDF's are a useful aide-memoire for the time when you may have to!
NDWA fully endorses all the PPE and animal restraint equipment that is offered by MDC Exports who are a leader in the field of such equipment and who are constantly working to create eqiupment that enables all of us who have to deal with animals to operate safely.
